Isnt it grand? A certain someone who shall remain nameless...AHEM..Darryl...AHEM....has suggested that it is about time that I updated my livejournal. Yeah right...its only been like four months...pshaw! LOL So what has been going on with me....hrmmm...work has been ok. It was great at first, then good and now I want to pull my eyes from their csockets about every five minutes. I have no patience for people who don't listen to what I am saying and then accuse me of not listening to what they are asking...WHILE using my name every five seconds like we are best friends. Love the perks of the job though. The president took us out for a dinner that cost him $1500, he gave me a really sweet fleece sweatshirt, i am going to a Jays game tonight for free, and on our last day of work we get free lunch in the RDH...buffet style. So yeah....great job.

Love life is SUPER. I love Brent so much that sometimes I dont know what to do with myself....well, I do...but thats more than I think anyone wants to hear about. We are going to Maine this Friday for a whole week. i am calling it the vacation of LOVE! lol. Good times. Itll be nice to spen dmore than a weekend together.

Roommate situation is pretty sweet. Darryl has been awesome for the summer, and I hope things work out for him. Got a new roommate, no thanks to Kyle and the new one is nice and Freddy is off of my back. great world.

I have to run for the bus but I love everyone and will continue later...peace out homies

So it has been a while. I have been a busy girl, but surprisingly my schedule does not seem as bad as it did in April before I started. I am loving my job, interested in my courses and am not overwhelmed. Spent this past weekend in Brantford doing absolutely nothing but Brent. It was nice. I went to a Sarah Machlachlan concert last night with Bill and it was AWESOME! I loved the stage set up and she sang all of the songs that I actually know! I get my Philosophy exam tonight and it is due Thursday...I am not really sure when I will have a chance to write it, but because it needs to be done, I will find the time. I am going to Meghans wedding this weekend with Robin...should be fun. I dont really know what to get as a wedding present and it is coming up fairly soon.....note to self..EMAIL ROBIN! It feels weird to be living with Darryl and Craig....not weird really.....mainly just weird that I am never home so I dont get to see them often. Hopefully I will have more time as the summer goes on. I could definitely use a nap right now....with some Phil Collins playing in the background....I miss everyone and hopefully will get to see you soon! BBQ of Love is coming up.....

Last week was pretty awesome, and my first day of work this week was also pretty good. I had a fun weekend at home....went to the zoo, watched some movies, went shopping and hung out with the sibs and Tim. I got lucky and Jen drove me home last night, however we didnt get to St Kitts until 11 where we had to unpack groceries before bed. I didnt mind though....its pretty sweet to go grocery shopping with your mum....I LOVED it! I am getting really frustrated with the history department. The exam went fairly well, but I dont have any idea what my mark is. The essays were not ready for the exam so I dont have even that to go on. I checked today and the essays still arent ready.....i am going to go crazy! I do love gothic lit though....my prof posted our unofficial marks on webct and i got an 80 on the exam..pretty decent if you ask me! Brent is coming tonight but I forgot that my evening courses start today. Too bad I dont get to spend the whole time with him...alas. On the otherhand, next weekend is Mystery Moot and we are running a morning game and a car tour station together. Should be fun.....if it isnt SNOWING or HAILING! What is up with the weather!?!?!?! I am glad Darryl has moved in...hopefully we will see each other a little more than I am thinking we will.....he works nights, I work days and I guess we can communicate via email and the white erase board! lol. I still have 2 hours to kill before class so I am not too sure what I shall do with myself...dinner and sleep sound good right now....

Had a great week at work so far. You know your job is going to be fun when it seems like you are not working at all. I just finished my take home portion of my history exam and have less than 2 hours to study for the formal written part. EW. At least after this I will be done until Monday! HOORAY! I checked my marks today.....82 in Neta Gordon's Can Lit class and 78 in Shakespeare....awesome considering I never went. Darryl moved in yesterday, which was cool, and he had a party, which was cool....but man...his friends can party and party LOUD! I was trying to be cool and realize that it was his first night in the house, he was excited and was ready to relax. At the same time, I was super tired and had to be up at 6:45, so being kept up til 1:30 was not such a great thing...or a good time to try to remember everything listed above. I am excited for the weekend because I am going home and get to have some fam time. Well needed fam time. Next week everyone else starts program, we have a skitty thing planned, I can wear jeans on Monday AND Brent is coming. How can next week be bad? I miss my jeans and am desperate to find more non jeans to wear to work...three day pant cycles are not cool. If anybody has any dress pants I can borrow that will fit...I WANT IN YOUR PANTS!! Literally. Haha. Well, off I go to study...then sweet sweet bed.....sighhhhhhhhhhh.

And my brain hurts......! There is a lot to remember, but I think it will be less overwhelming once I/we get into our office and onto our computers. I really like my coworkers and really like the job and can't wait to get started with the learning process and the actual program. I have a bit of a headache, which is not good when I have an exam in 3 hours. To tylenol or not to tylenol? I am voting for tylenol all the way..dont want this headache to turn into one of my paralyzers.

Darryl moves in tomorrow and I am pretty excited for that...though I have a take home exam to write and no other time to write it. Alas. I will be done so soon but not soon enough. I am not really dreading my spring courses as much as I thought I would..so that is a plus!

I plan to go home to Whitby this weekend which will be nice because I havent been home when everyone else has in like 2 months. This is very weird to me. I am hoping for some vegging, some family time and a roast beef dinner...not really much to ask if you ask me! I guess I should go study and eat dinner, but that would be intelligent and I dont feel that that term defines me at this moment in time.....

Had a good weekend. It was nice to see everyone, though I didnt really get to spend a ton of time with everybody. My parents were cooking for the staff members at camp and so we didn't really get to see each other much. It was nice to spend some time with the sibs though, and it was nice that Ashley came along to surprise Bob...too bad he was the only one who didnt know! Didnt get as much time as I wouldve liked to hang out with Tim, but we did dance together: interpretive style! I slept on the ride home so I didnt have to talk to Skippy..which worked out until I woke up half way home. Oh well. Jsut had a shower and a killer nap almost as good as the one I had on Friday. I am going to go watch a movie....because I am bored and because I embrace the free time I have as I start my SMART Start job TOMORROW....oh yeha, and I have my Gothic exam....but I am feeling pretty good about it.

So this morning was kind of brutal...but hey, when has getting up at 6 ever been easy? Work was cool...last shift for the year...so sad. Spent the afternoon napping. I had forgotten how great it is to lay down and sleep for 3 hours in the middle of the afternoon...and I mean lay down to sleep, not just lay and get laid! It was one of the best naps ever. I paid my tuition yesterday. Goodbye $1349.81! I just can't wait until I start getting paid by SMART Start...speaking of which, I start Monday at 8:15! I am SUPER excited for that and for this weekend. I havent seen the fam in FOREVER and every time I call home my Mum has mysteriously just stepped out of the door or is at a meeting of some kind. She is a hard lady to track down to talk to!! This camp is going to kick ass, mainly because I get to see everyone that I love that isnt at Brock...Brent, the fam, Tim, 22nd Niagara....what could be better? I am a little weary about the weather because lets face it, I am not looking forward to camping in our first major weekend of downpours for the year. Did I say first? I meant to say only(I wish). I am just waiting for Skippy to pick me up in his brand spanking new wheels. Yippee! Yippee Skippy!!! Oh man I am cheesy and tell bad jokes. Oh well...I only have 2 and a half hours left to wait....yay! Have a good weekend everybody!

    <lj:music>Phil Collins...Who Else?</lj:music>

Well, that was an interesting weekend. Can Lit exam on Friday night was pretty good...not as great as I expected but I dont stress out about exams before or after. If you know it you know it and there is no point worrying about it. I know I passed the course. Shakespeare exam went well. Thought I was screwed and it came out pretty well. Got my essay back for that course and scored a 74%....not too shabby!

Mixed in with all the exams was a visit with Robin and Brent.....busy weekend all round. We rented Mario Party though and that game, as previously mentioned, is the SHIT!

Spent Sunday and Monday nights at Brent's house because it was our one year celebration on Monday. Monday I spent the morning studying for my exam tonight(like it really needed to be done) and in the afternoon I went to FC Bodley Public School to visit Brent's class. They were doing "construction" from Frecklejuice. Basically they had lego, plasticine, duplo and stuff like that to build a scene from the book. I just wandered and asked questions and helped Mrs. Nadjiwon get stuff ready. Brent actually ended up being in another room with the kids that didnt finish their spelling. Being in that class made me decide one thing: HIGH SCHOOL FOR ME ALL THE WAY. Those kids were little hellions. I dont know how Mrs. Nadjiwon is not insane. Though it IS a core school in a pretty bad area so the kids are especially brutal...I shouldnt really let it influence me, but no thanks. I admire Brent's patience. Ended up scoring a ride back this morning with Larry because he had to go to Brock anyways so I didnt have to take the bus. I am one lucky chica!

Have my Pop Narrative exam tonight but he gave us the questions already and I go to most lectures so I am prepared. No problem!!! Then Looney Toons this weekend. Should be fun!

Oh how I love being in the commons. Such a great way to kill some time and have people stare angrily at you because they want your computer. I can really feel the love! So I just paid the cable bill, leaving me $71 to pay for groceries, pot luck food for Sunday and the BUZIES...and I have no stores of alcohol that I can fall back on. Well, thats shitty. Maybe I can find a street corner in St Catharines to work for some cash...any suggestions on location St Catharines friends? Kyle still owes me $30 so hopefully I can turn into a hard ass and get him to pay me SOON. We rented Mario Party 6 last night and I totally dominated! I ended up with 15 stars!!! And for those of you who play....you know its a lot. On th otehr hand, Mario Party 6 has this crazy twist where the star doesn't move and you can buy up to 5 stars in one turn....plus I stole some stars from Travis when he tried to challenge me to a duel, and from when I played the hat game(6 hats, hide the star in one, mix em up and choose the right hat). Kyle and Travis were kind of pissed, mainly because I never win and I didnt just win, I DOMINATED!!!! Kyle didnt even have half the amount of stars I had! HELLO! I could keep talking about the game pretty much all day, which kind of makes me a raging loser, however, Iembrace my loseriness and love this game to death...try it, you'll love it.

Not much going on since Monday....Tuesday was a great day at work...I was really really hyper. Travis got a letter from parking services and asked me if I had done it as a joke....yeah, cause I would pay the money to purolator a letter to his MOMS HOUSE!!!! Good idea, and too bad I never thought of doing it, but he could be fucked for graduation....so hopefullyhe works that out today. I think we are renting Mario Party this weekend...which would be SUPER fun!!!!! Great game on any system, though I prefer N64. Brian moved out last Saturday and lost his job on the last day ofg his 3 month probation....which I am sure sucked for him. WE (meaning Kyle and Travis) have turned his room into a soccer court, complete with duck taped out creases! LOL Don;t Worry Darryl, it wont be there when you move in!!!! Work today, and my last day of Shakespeare then work tomorrow and Brent's coming down....he has a test to write, so I am thinking I will help Hannah paint her house. Thats it for now..nothing too exciting really....

So I had two to do this weekend. Got an extension on one though, so that ruled that one out. I tried my hardest to start the other, but it just wasnt working out. Walked all the way to the library from my house....ended up being out in the rain/snow for almost an hour because i waited for the bus for 25 minutes only to remember the buses come once an hour, not every half hour. Got to the library to find it was closed until 1:30 (it was 11:15) so I turned around and walked home. I was soaked all the way through both layers of my coat and my sweatshirt, my feet were blue from my running blue suede shoes, and my hair was more wet than if i had taken a shower. Decided to fuck the essay for today because it isnt due until Tuesday and I can write it Monday night....OH and I have cramps and a migraine. Not a really good day. But hey! Happy Spring! Don't forget to put your clocks ahead one hour....

I really have nothing to update or anything witty to say.....but yeah. Its sunny, I am happy and LIFE OF PI is an awesome book so far. I have missed reading for myself and I had forgotten how much I actually like doing it. I have visions of hanging out in the backyard sunshine this summer and reading away the afternoons, but then i remember i will not be seeing any sunshine this summer. Maybe I should work nights at Tim Hortons with Darryl and Joy....

Went out with Leigh and Darryl last night.....super fun!!!! Had some predrinkning going on and then headed over to the Old Man Bar(AKA Cats CAboose). Surprisingly, not SKETCHY!!!! There were older people there, but it was a pretty good mixture of students and the geriatric. There was this one super hottie who had a rat tail. Though she asked me to twirl my finger around it, I left that to her. (Though she did not ask me to twirl her tail, i did notice that she would run her fingers though what little hair she had.....i think she was trying to be sexy....it worked) Darryl and I danced with her...or tried to...she kept slinking away....alas. Got home about 1 and slept....until 7...which is not enough sleep for me, so a WARNING to all who see me today: I may be bitchy...if so, I apologize!

One more page to do on my essay that is due at 6pm today. No biggy...I am off work at 230, which means home by 3 and that gives me an hour and forty minutes to do one page...HELLO! I am set. I feel really good about this paper....unlike the Canadian lit paper I wrote on Monday that was absolute trash....thing with Brock is that even if your papers are garbage they like to give you good marks....boy, I wish I was a TA.

Off to work...have a good day!!!

Weekend of Buffets

Good times, though generally weekends are. Had some awesome awesome sister time which was...you guessed it! Awesome. Jen and I had sleepovers two nights in a row and caught up on all of the stuff we had missed since we last talked. If you don't have one, I would recommend getting one(a sister)! Had a nice visit at Tim's on Good Friday....we watched some movies and chatted and I saw his pics from his Reading Week of House Building. We even had chips!!! It was nice to see Tim cause I hadnt seen him in a while and I had been going into withdrawal. Saturday was good...Jen had the brilliant idea to go visit Grandma before we met up with Brent so off we went. We had lunch with G-Ma and her lover Bob...it looked sketchy but was good. It was hamburger buns with Mushroom soup concentrate on them and then they were baked in the oven...like I said, looked sketch but good. Met up with Brent at Slimeridge Mall and had a hell of a time getting out of there. What do you mean the mall is busy on a SAturday? :O :O :O Watched Fried Green Tomatoes at Brent's house. TOWANDA!!!! Oh Kathy Bates! Went to a Chinese Buffet and had dinner with G-Rosie. It was fun....there were like 50 of Brent's relatives there and I had to keep em all straight...it was like a game really. They started taking family photos and G Leon wouldnt let them take it until I got in the picture...which was really thoughtful that they would want to include me, but I still felt really weird being in it. It got really hot in the party room and I ate way too much greasy, deep fried stuff. I was rolled out of there and then went back to Brent's. Bang Bang came over and we watched (ahem, slept through) the Incredibles. That movie actually IS incredible, but I had seen it WEdnesday night and was really friggin tired from the night before. This morning we got up and went to Faith Lutheran Church....did I fool anybody? Yeah, definitely did NOT do that. Woke up this morning and met Brent's dad for brunch....a buffet brunch! I was still full from the night before, but I feel bad when someone pays for a buffet and I do not gorge myself...so I force fed. In hindsight, I shouldve filled my pockets for the starving children of the world but I dont think French Toast keeps. Brent's mom Cheryl had gotten a bunch of Easter stuff for me, which was really nice.....it was a huge ass gift bag full of stuff! Got Mr. Sketch Markers....HELLO! Had a quick EAster Dinner in Brantford and here I am...procrastinating hardcore on an essay due at 9 AM. Think that one is going to be late. Anyways, hope everyone had an awesome weekend too!!!! If I ever eat again, I hope its not buffet!
